Quick answers

How do I cancel or change my payment method?

Open Account → Manage billing. Stripe lets the account owner cancel renewal, update a payment method, and view invoices. Canceling normally leaves access through the paid period. If you cannot sign in or believe a charge is wrong, contact support below.

I cannot sign in. What should I do?

Use Forgot password on the login page and check your spam folder for the reset email. Use the email address you registered with. If you are still locked out, choose Login or account access below. Never send us your password or a verification code.

What happens to my work when I cancel?

Canceling renewal does not delete your saved books or authored work. After paid access ends, paid features become restricted and saved work remains available under your account’s access rules. Pausing a book does not cancel your subscription.

How do I change a launch date or update an older plan?

Open the book and use its plan settings. Review the changes before applying a new date or plan update. Completed tasks and your own edits are preserved. The latest-plan prompt appears when an update is available.

What do Estimate, Recorded Cost, and Paid mean?

Estimate is what you expect to spend, including suggested amounts you have not yet customized. Recorded Cost is the cost you have committed or recorded. Paid is money already paid. These are separate amounts, not three numbers to add together. Click an amount in a budget line to edit it directly.

Why can I not edit a shared or paused book?

Paused books are view-only. Editing also depends on your paid access and the permissions the book owner assigned you. Clients can participate in client-visible discussions but cannot access internal budget or notes. Ask the owner about access to a shared book.

Can support plan my book launch for me?

We help with Quillsome’s features and technical problems. Individual publishing, legal, financial, and marketing coaching are outside the scope of product support.
